Patrick Dorgu revealed that Manchester United’s four summer signings under Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim have shown two all-important features at Old Trafford.

Matheus Cunha was the first major arrival at Old Trafford this summer after Manchester United landed the former Wolves star for a £62.5m transfer fee.

Following the arrival of Matheus Cunha at United in June, the Red Devils bolstered the squad depth of Ruben Amorim’s side with the signing of Diego Leon in July.

Paraguayan wonderkid Diego Leon was not the only signing made last month, with the Red Devils paying an initial fee of £65m to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.

Joining Bryan Mbeumo, Cunha and Leon at the Red Devils is Benjamin Sesko, who arrived at United from RB Leipzig for an initial fee of £66.3m earlier this month.

What Patrick Dorgu had to say about Ruben Amorim’s four new Man Utd players shows their meaningful presence

Manchester United unveiled Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo, Diego Leon and Matheus Cunha to the Old Trafford faithful at the end of the pre-season tour.

The four aforementioned Red Devils summer signings took to the pitch and were presented to United fans ahead of the penalty shootout win over Fiorentina.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Patrick Dorgu has claimed that the Red Devils are in a better position now after the signings of Sesko, Mbeumo, Leon and Cunha this summer.

The 20-year-old United left-back insisted that Ruben Amorim’s latest players have already shown the “energy and quality” that they “bring” to the first-team squad.

“The facilities help,” he said.

“I think new signings have helped as well. They bring a lot of good energy and quality into the group.

“Everyone has a point to prove this season. We need to get back to Europe, so we need to stick together, be happy and positive and try to do what the coach asks.”

Patrick Dorgu remains unfazed about the major objective for Man Utd under Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford

The Red Devils have had a bumpy start to the new Premier League season, with United currently 16th in the league table after their opening two matches.

United lost 1-0 to Arsenal at Old Trafford in their Premier League opener before the Red Devils picked up their first point in a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

Dorgu, who arrived at United during the January transfer window, has refused to play down the huge expectation for the Red Devils to win the Premier League title.

“One hundred per cent we are aiming to win the Premier League,” he said.

“We are Manchester United, so that’s always going to be our goal.”

United are back in action on Wednesday evening for the start of their Carabao Cup campaign, with the Red Devils facing Grimsby Town in the second round.
