Amad Diallo is the hero as Manchester United booked a place in the FA Cup semi-finals.
This was the biggest moment of Amad’s career, a dramatic winning goal in the 120th minute of a FA Cup tie against Liverpool.
He has barely had a kick this season, due to injury and non-selection. This made it all worth the wait.
Amad’s big moment could not even be ruined by him being sent off in the ensuing celebrations, picking up a second yellow card as he took off his shirt.

The game Amad will be suspended for
Amad will serve a suspension after receiving his red card. As it came after two bookings, it is just a one-match ban.
The good news is, the ban is not competition specific, meaning he will not miss the semi-final.
BBC Sport confirm Amad’s ban will be served in the next Premier League game, when Manchester United are away at Brentford.
This is good news, meaning he does not miss out on the big moment at Wembley, which he has earned.
Amad was praised after the game by teammate Marcus Rashford, who told ITV Sport: “Amad Diallo has been working hard, he hasn’t had the opportunities he wants and there’s no better way to push for more than nights like this.”
Manchester United semi-final opponents confirmed
The FA Cup semi-final draw has been made, with Manchester United learning their opponents already.
Manchester United will face Championship side Coventry City at Wembley, who beat Wolves in their quarter-final.
The date and time for the fixture has yet to be announced, and will be in the coming days.
The other semi-final will be held between Chelsea and Manchester City. Let’s hope Chelsea can pull off an upset there.
Coventry won’t be pushovers, but this is the best possible draw United could have landed of the three options.
