Bruno Fernandes is back in the news and it’s for the reasons all Manchester United fans will be dreading to hear.

Now Bruno Fernandes‘ Euro 2024 campaign is concluded, he’ll be off on his holidays before joining up with the Manchester United squad.

However, before he can get back to Carrington there’s been news emerging over his future once more with a potential exit route now being explored.

The Old Trafford captain has long had stories circulating over his future which seems far from decided on his part if the latest reports are true.

Bruno Fernandes set for PIF meeting

Prior to the Euros this summer it had been reported that Bruno was contemplating his future, well now he’s set for talks to discuss a possible move.

This comes according to journalist Rudy Galetti who claims that in the event Bruno opts to depart United this summer, he’d rather join Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr over Al Ittihad.

Continuing, he explained that Bruno has given his approval for the proposal to be explored further and that a new meeting with the PIF (Saudi Public Investment Fund) is expected soon.

While Bruno may be exploring options, it appears that this is all he’s doing as it remains a case of ‘if’ he decides to depart the club this summer.

Chances are this comes to nothing this summer though, with ambition being the factor Bruno was said to be judging his future on, and Ineos are showing plenty of ambition.

What should Ineos do with Bruno Fernandes?

If Bruno’s claimed talks turn out to be successful, Ineos will have a huge decision on their hands over what to do.

Nobody thinks United should sell Bruno this summer, he’s the most impactful and important player in the squad and without him, a complete reinvention would be needed.

However, in the event that a completely insane offer is received from Saudi Arabia, selling might be the smartest decision given Bruno isn’t getting any younger.

It’s a decision which no matter which way Ineos end up leaning will leave a section of the fanbase annoyed. But with the experts in place within the footballing structure, we have to imagine they’ll make the right call.
