Ruben Amorim has only been in charge of Manchester United for a few weeks, but former club Sporting are already in a world of pain.
Manchester United sacked Erik ten Hag in October and Ineos wasted no time in finding his replacement.
Ruben Amorim quickly became the top target and Ineos landed their man.
Amorim was appointed by United on November 1 and Ineos were even happy to let him wait until the international break to leave Sporting.
Results have been a mixed bag so far for Amorim with the scale of the United challenge really hitting home.
Things may not be ideal at United but they are arguably even worse at Sporting as they deal with life after Amorim.

Sporting in trouble after Ruben Amorim exit
Sporting picked Joao Pereira to replace Amorim and the move has been a complete disaster.
Pereira was promoted from being Sporting B manager with the idea of continuing Amorim’s fine work.
Sporting won 11 games from 11 league games under Amorim to start the season but have remarkably won just one in four league games under Pereira.
Defeats to Santa Clara and Moreirense were a relative disaster and Sporting have even lost two Champions League games under Pereira after winning three from four under Amorim.
Sporting have been seriously struggling and Pereira has now paid the price with his job.
Mere weeks after losing Amorim, Record report that Sporting have decided to sack Pereira and make another managerial change.
Pereira has only been given a handful of games but having failed to build on Amorim’s exceptional work, he has been ruthlessly axed.

Sporting already find another manager
Just as United moved quickly to appoint Amorim, Sporting are now moving quickly to land Pereira’s successor too.
Record claim that Sporting will be appointing Rui Borges as their new boss, luring him away from Vitoria Guimaraes.
Vitoria sit sixth in the Liga Portugal table and Sporting appear to have been left very impressed.
Sporting still sit top of the table but are now calling on Borges to come in and get the club back on track.
Perhaps Pereira just wasn’t ready for this job but Sporting’s fall-off without Amorim just goes to show the incredible work he was doing in Lisbon.
United need to back Amorim with time, patience and funds and he could turn the club into a winning machine – just as he did at Sporting.
