Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has offered an injury update ahead of Manchester United’s clash with Real Sociedad.
Speaking at the press conference which was streamed on the club’s official app at 1:30pm, Solskjaer was asked for an update on three players.
He said that Scott McTominay, Edinson Cavani and Donny van de Beek will all miss the second leg of the Europa League last 32 clash.
Cavani and van de Beek missed the first leg as well, while McTominay started that game but played in Turin.

“No. They are still out,” said Solskjaer when asked whether the trio would play at Old Trafford.
“They have still not trained enough with us, so we’ll have more or less same squad as we had against Newcastle.”
It’s a shame that van de Beek has missed the return to Europa League action, as it might have handed him two opportunities to start.
That has contributed to United being slightly short in central midfield, with Nemanja Matic and Fred the only two senior holding options.

Cavani might have been handed a night off in European action anyway, and it would be a huge boost if he was back for the clash against Chelsea on Sunday.
McTominay would be another huge miss at Stamford Bridge, given his energy and growing goal threat.
Thursday’s game will likely provide another opportunity for Matic to remind Solskjaer of what he can do ahead of the game against his former club at Stamford Bridge.
It also shouldn’t be ruled out that a youngster or two will get a chance to fill in. 19-year-old midfielder Ethan Galbraith has been called into United’s Europa League squad ahead of the game.
