Brighton’s trip to Old Trafford on Sunday could mark the first start for Rasmus Hojlund, he has been tipped as a danger-man.

Rasmus Hojlund is the name on the tip of everyone’s tounge after his impressive cameo against Arsenal.

He gave Manchester United fans a glimpse of his incredible skillset which offers United so much more than the likes of Anthony Martial.

With solid displays for Denmark too over the break, excitement has reached fever pitch as fans await his link-ups with the other attackers.

His impact two weeks ago was instant as he began bullying the Arsenal defence and offering so much in the build-up using his strength.

He has now been tipped as a potential game decider against Brighton…

Paul Merson praises Rasmus Hojlund

Paul Merson has pin-pointed United’s new striker as one to watch in this fixture during his weekly predictions column on Sky Sports.

“Rasmus Hojlund is going to cause chaos in attack for United with his aggressive nature and all-action style.” Merson began.

“The striker didn’t look fazed by the occasion when making his debut at Arsenal, latching himself onto the ultra-physical Gabriel from the moment he entered the fray and he mixed it in some heavyweight one-on-one duels.”

Hojlund could very well be the X-factor for United, given nobody has had to deal with Bruno Fernandes having a proper striker to target for years.

The Dane will be a handful for Lewis Dunk in the Brighton defence and we actually think he will hit the ground running with an Old Trafford debut goal.

Finally dangerous through the middle

For seasons now, United have been lacking the presence of a true striker up front and relied too heavily on wingers and midfielders for goals.

Now, United will see a strong, quick and technically brilliant young striker stretching defences and posing a threat.

The man who benefits most from this is without a doubt, Fernandes who finally has a target in the box.

if Hojlund can improve his clinical side slightly, him and Fernandes are going to combine for a lot of goals. We can’t wait to see it.
