Jose Mourinho – Fenerbahce

Jose Mourinho faces Manchester United – in Turkey.
This is without a doubt the juiciest return, and Mourinho will need to pull out all the stops as his side take on the Red Devils in what will be the intimidating cauldron of the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium.
Fred – Fenerbahce

Fred will join Mourinho in facing the Red Devils for the first time since his departure.

After being rejected by Sir Jim Ratcliffe for a return this summer, Amrabat now looks close to moving to Turkey – so will lineup alongside Fred to try and foil the Red Devils.
Jack Butland – Rangers

Veteran goalkeeper Jack Butland will return to Old Trafford with Rangers – providing he doesn’t make a late exit in the window.
The 31-year-old shot-stopper has revived his career in Scotland, with Butland having a sensational season for the Gers last year.
Tom Lawrence – Rangers

Tom Lawrence, a forgotten Manchester United academy star will also return to his boyhood club.
The striker joined Rangers in 2022, and now leads the line at Ibrox. He’ll be desperate to net one on the Old Trafford turf.
Shola Shoretire – PAOK

Last but not least, a man who departed Manchester United this summer – Shola Shoretire will be coming back to the Theatre of Dreams quicker than he anticipated.
Shoretire joined PAOK as a free agent and will get the chance to prove Ten Hag wrong with a return in the coming months.
