Sir Jim Ratcliffe has reportedly made his stance clear on Erik ten Hag, on a weekend Manchester United picked up a vital three points against Fulham.
Despite there being no confirmed developments around the imminent completion of the takeover, The Mirror is reporting where Sir Jim Ratcliffe sits regarding Erik ten Hag.
Things certainly looked bleak for Ten Hag and Manchester United after back-to-back 3-0 defeats to Manchester City and Newcastle United, but a last-gasp win over the Cottagers has eased the pressure somewhat.

According to the report, Ratcliffe believes that Erik ten Hag is still the right man at Old Trafford and the English petrochemical billionaire has no plans to replace the Dutchman at this point in time.
The report also goes on to say that Ratcliffe believes that Ten Hag, with the right structure behind him, could excel if given enough time to turn things around.
A report from The Times claimed that the Dutchman was ‘on thin ice’ but that now seems to be incorrect and this latest report should instead assure the former Ajax manager that he will be given time to turn things around, which is exactly what the 53-year-old deserves.

It’s clear that the Dutchman deserves time to turn things around, something that has not been provided to any other manager prior, it is time to back a manager who has already won silverware for the club.
He’s the joint fastest United manager to reach 50 wins in all competitions, another feather in his cap when looking at the bigger picture.
Once Ratcliffe is in position and acquires control over sporting decisions, we will see if his actions match his words.
