Seven Manchester United youngsters have been pictured training with the first team ahead of Thursday’s Europa League clash versus Omonia Nicosia.
Having beaten Everton 2-1 at Goodison Park on Sunday night, the majority of Erik ten Hag’s first team undertook a recovery session at Carrington yesterday.

This allowed several of United’s talented academy prospects to make the step up and train alongside the likes of Zidane Iqbal, Facundo Pellistri and Alejandro Garnacho.
The likes of Tom Heaton, Martin Dubravka, Fred, Scott McTominay and Anthony Elanga also took part in yesterday’s session.

Academy stars Charlie McNeill, Joe Hugill, Shola Shoretire, Isak Hansen-Aarøen, Dan Gore, Kobbie Mainoo and Sam Murray were all involved in United first team training yesterday.
Hugill, who is yet to feature for the academy sides this season, marked his return to fitness and will no doubt be looking forward to return to competitive action with the Reds youth sides.

McNeil and Shoretire are the only two out of the seven to have made their debuts for the senior side.
Hansen-Aarøen came on in United’s last pre-season friendly, which came against La Liga side Rayo Vallecano and was Ten Hag’s first game in the Old Trafford dugout.
Aside from Shoretire, the other six youngsters were part of Travis Binnion’s FA Youth Cup winning side last season.

In the same game Shoretire was a labelled a “joke” by his teammates after providing three assists.
Both Gore and Murray have both trained with the first team before.
