Scott McTominay single handedly turned defeat into victory against Brentford with his two late goals in stoppage time.
The narrative around Manchester United has changed in a heartbeat, as two late (late) goals from Scott McTominay completed a classical comeback.
Brentford held on and were really solid in defence until it all fell apart for them in the 93rd minute.
McTominay’s first goal sparked the belief a comeback could be completed, and then four minutes later, he completed that comeback himself.
A huge moment and no doubt one which will be looked back on fondly by all involved. Following the game, McTominay took to social media to send a message to fans.

Taking to his Instagram after the match, McTominay posted a photo which displayed the raw emotion he felt upon putting United ahead.
Under the photo he wrote the caption “Thank you Old Trafford“.
This was then followed up by a heart emoji as he showcased his love for Manchester United, while also showing that he deserves to remain at the club.
Providing the moment of the season so far, will endear him to fans and should result in a return to the team following the international break.
Bruno Fernandes responds
Under McTominay’s post, several of his teammates replied with messages of their own supporting the Scotland international.
Bruno Fernandes sent a message, he said: “Well deserved terminator”, followed by a flexing emoji.
Alejandro Garnacho was another who responded, sending heart eye emojis to McTominay after the two were first to embrace after the winner. With Diogo Dalot sending a brain emoji and a heart emoji, ironically the two things McTominay showed in abundance since he came on.
On-loan red Sergio Reguilon simply replied, “Yesssssssss”.
While former United star Phil Neville sent a heart and a praising emoji to the midfielder.
