Senne Lammens has been a revelation since he was given a chance to show what he can do for Manchester United.
We will never know for sure if Senne Lammens would have fared well if he was thrown in to make his debut in the Manchester derby, days after he joined.
But based on what we have seen since he made his debut a month later, Lammens probably would have been just fine.
Lammens has helped United to a four-game unbeaten streak including a win at Anfield, while he even received Peter Schmeichel comparisons from fans on his debut.
Head coach Ruben Amorim has been speaking about Senne Lammens, ahead of the game this weekend against Tottenham.

Ruben Amorim on Senne Lammens
Ruben Amorim is thrilled with Senne Lammens’ impact since he came into the team, and offered the slightest hint of regret about not playing him earlier.
Amorim says he was ‘surprised’ to see just how composed the 23-year-old goalkeeper has been.
Speaking to Men In Blazers, Amorim said: “We try to see everything about the player, but it was a surprise how composed he was.”
Amorim says there is one element of Lammens’ game that has helped to change the way Manchester United play.
Lammens’ kicking was commended on MUTV commentary on his debut, and Amorim has certainly taken note.
The boss explained: “He can kick long long balls with a lot of quality with both feet, and that is a detail that can change the way we play the game.”
The fact that Lammens can play with both feet is crucial as it makes him more adaptable under pressure from onrushing attackers.
United’s more direct style has helped the team mix up the tactics, and allowed the team to move up the Premier League table.
Ruben Amorim believes Benjamin Sesko is benefitting from Senne Lammens
Having the ability to launch a big kick upfield cannot be totally effective if you do not have a striker with strong aerial power at the other end.
Fortunately, new signing Benjamin Sesko is exactly what Manchester United need, to make the most of Senne Lammens’ booming kick.
Amorim explained: “Everything is connected. Now we have a player like Ben that touches the ball every time that it goes in the air.
“So everything is connected and every detail of every player can help us to be a better team.”
There was a big overreaction early in the season when Manchester United were struggling to string consecutive results together, which was partly connected to the problems last season.
But looking at this season alone, it was clear that Ruben Amorim’s new signings would take time to gel, it would not be an instant fix.
We are now seeing signs of progress, and while Lammens and Sesko are at opposite ends of the pitch, Amorim is finding a way to maximise their talents together.
