Ruben Amorim has provided a fitness update ahead of Manchester United’s fixture with Liverpool.
Manchester United face Liverpool on Sunday as the Premier League resumes after the second international break of the season.
Ruben Amorim has admitted he is uncertain over the status of Noussair Mazraoui, heading into the game.

Speaking at his press conference, Amorim admitted he could not say whether Mazraoui would be available for the trip to Anfield.
“Mazraoui I don’t know,” he said, while providing a general fitness update on the squad.
Mazraoui has not been pictured in training this past week, and missed the Brentford and Sunderland games before the break.
He did not feature for Morocco during the recent break due to injury.
With no Mazraoui, Amad and Patrick Dorgu are likely to feature at wing-back, with Diogo Dalot another option.

Amorim provides update
Lisandro Martinez has been spotted at Carrington, although Manchester United will take it slow with the defender’s recovery from a torn ACL.
Amorim explained: “Licha is near, almost returning to training with team.”
The Manchester United boss also said he would take into account players’ fitness and recovery after long journeys around the world on international duty.
Brazil stars Casemiro and Matheus Cunha were indirectly referenced: “Rest of the guys, national teams, they are ready but if you saw the games, some players played in Japan so need to be careful, give more time.”
The late Sunday kick-off helps, and there is still a chance Casemiro features at Anfield for the first time since the fateful 7-0 loss in 2023.
