Roy Keane shared a clear-cut reaction with one Manchester United-supporting comedian after watching him do stand-up at his daughter’s school for a fundraiser.
The 53-year-old Manchester United legend has earned a reputation for his tough-as-nails approach on the pitch and his demeanour in the Sky Sports studio for punditry.
Roy Keane hasn’t been afraid to pull no punches and the straight-talking Irishman is widely admired for his elite mentality, which helped him excel as a player.
The former United midfielder built a long-lasting legacy as Red Devils captain and took a no-nonsense approach with his actions on the pitch and off it.
During his legendary spell at Old Trafford, Keane captained United to an iconic treble win in the 1998-99 season under former Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Irish hardman lifted seven Premier League titles, a Champions League and four FA Cups before his departure from United in 2005 amid a rift with Sir Alex Ferguson.

Speaking to FourFourTwo magazine, stand-up comedian and actor Justin Moorhouse opened up about his encounter with Manchester United legend Roy Keane.
Justin Moorhouse, who famously played Young Kenny in Peter Kay’s hit TV show Phoenix Nights, admitted he could see Bryan Robson or Keane as comedians.
“Bryan Robson was quick-witted, and Roy Keane might be very good,” he said.
“I mean, would anyone try to heckle Roy Keane?”
Moorhouse then revealed he was once doing a stand-up and was unaware that former United captain Keane was in attendance at a school fundraiser.
The former Phoenix Nights star said that the Sky Sports pundit came over to him after the stand-up and told him he thought he was “very funny.”
“Roy came to see me doing stand-up, actually,” he said.
“I didn’t even know he was there at first – it was a fundraiser at my daughter’s school and his daughter went there, too.
“He walked over afterwards and said I was very funny. I thought, ‘Cheers!’”

Justin Moorhouse added that he learned that Keane’s daughter had revealed her reaction to her father’s encounter with him at the school fundraiser.
According to Moorhouse, his daughter learned from Keane’s daughter that the United legend thought the ex-Phoenix Nights actor was “really funny.”
The 54-year-old United-supporting comedian said that Keane’s daughter revealed that “he must have been funny” because her father “doesn’t laugh at anything.”
“My daughter said that her pal told her, ‘My dad thought your dad was really funny, and he must have been funny as Dad doesn’t laugh at anything,’” Moorhouse continued.
