Andre Onana deal agreed

Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana is set to complete his move to Manchester United.

Fabrizio Romano reports Onana has flown into Manchester United ahead of his medical.

Jonny Evans signs short-term deal

A surprise deal has seen Manchester United sign free agent Jonny Evans on a short-term deal until the end of the month.

He is in the Manchester United squad to face Lyon in Wednesday’s friendly match in Scotland.

Marcus Rashford Signs a New contract at Manchester United

Marcus Rashford pens extension

Marcus Rashford has confirmed he has signed a new contract. The deal will run until 2028. It is a major boost to tie last season’s top scorer to a long-term extension.

Two players to miss tour

Two players will miss the pre-season tour to the USA with injury. Tyrell Malacia and Rhys Bennett both miss out.

Bennett played 45 minutes against Leeds and his absence is part of the season Evans has signed as cover.

Pre-season returns

Fred, Donny van de Beek and Antony are all in the travelling squad for the Lyon game. Dean Henderson is not included.

Two striker rumours

Manchester United are carrying out dual negotiations for strikers Rasmus Hojlund and Randal Kolo Muani, report ESPN.

Hojlund is believed to be the top target but with Atalanta demanding a big fee, Muani, four years older, is a player United like too and the club are keeping a dialogue open over both players.
