Rio Ferdinand made his feelings clear towards two Manchester United stars after Ruben Amorim’s men sealed a 3-2 win over Ipswich Town at Old Trafford.
Manchester United have climbed to 14th place in the Premier League table after Wednesday evening’s result, despite Ipswich Town causing real problems for them.
Premier League strugglers Ipswich stunned United inside the opening five minutes after a Red Devils fumble allowed Jaden Philogene to put his side into the lead.
However, United found an equaliser in the 22nd minute after Sam Morsy connected with Bruno Fernandes’ free-kick and turned the ball into the Ipswich net.
The Red Devils took the lead only four minutes later through Matthijs de Ligt, but Ruben Amorim’s side suffered another two major setbacks before half-time.
Patrick Dorgu was sent off in the 43rd minute for a reckless challenge on Omari Hutchinson before Jaden Philogene netted his brace in first-half injury time.
Harry Maguire restored United’s lead only two minutes after the break and the Red Devils played out the rest of the second half with 10 men to seal a 3-2 victory.

Rio Ferdinand was on commentary for TNT Sports and the 46-year-old Manchester United legend was baffled by what he saw during the Ipswich Town opener.
Patrick Dorgu played a careless back pass to Andre Onana and the United shot-stopper had already left his line and was caught in no man’s land.
Jaden Philogene pounced on the howler and Kieran McKenna’s men took the shock lead at Old Trafford, with United forced to fight back from the early setback.
Ferdinand insisted that there was no need for Andre Onana to come for the ball and the TNT Sports pundit claimed that Dorgu was in “complete control” at that moment.
“A terrible start,” he said, as per Sportskeeda.
“I don’t think Dorgu, at any moment, looks up to see where Onana is. Onana doesn’t need to come in.
“The full-back is in complete control and he can just hold his ground and let him play it back to him.
“But Dorgu doesn’t look, the awareness isn’t there and it’s pounced on. Ipswich took a deserved lead for pouncing on that lack of communication.”

United will now switch their attention away from the Premier League and focus ahead to their FA Cup encounter against Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Speaking after the Ipswich result, United manager Ruben Amorim insisted that the opener came down to a “misunderstanding” between Andre Onana and Dorgu.
“I think it is something that happen, even with other players,” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“It was like Patrick, when he looked, he saw Andre Onana on the goal but then looked down and made the pass and Andre was already out. A misunderstanding.”
