Rio Ferdinand stated last week on Vibe with FIVE that he believes Erik ten Hag will let Harry Maguire leave Manchester United next summer.
This comes after Maguire lost his place in the Manchester United line-up, with Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez both preferred.
Maguire has been back in action for England over the international break and it has not gone very well for him.
Rio Ferdinand has now demanded Maguire be strong mentally amid the criticism which will come his way after England’s draw with Germany.
England drew 3-3 with Maguire at fault for two of the goals, giving away a penalty for the first and losing the ball for the second.
Luke Shaw scored one as England rallied from 2-0 down to claim a draw.

Ferdinand said he felt some sympathy for Maguire, but also remarked that the criticism he will receive is simply what happens if you make mistakes at the top level.
Maguire will now return to Manchester United, without the confidence boost he will have been hoping for.
He has not done enough to warrant a starting spot against Manchester City this weekend. No Manchester United fans will feel confident in the thought of Maguire going up against Erling Haaland.
Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez will start in defence, but the latter still has one more international fixture remaining, against Jamaica in the early hours of Wednesday.
Hopefully Martinez will come through it unscathed, or even rested entirely, like Varane was on Sunday night.
