Former Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has signed for Aston Villa.

Alejandro Garnacho has ended his Chelsea nightmare by signing on loan with Aston Villa, who have a conditional agreement to buy.

It is 11 months since Garnacho clinched his £40 million transfer from Manchester United to Chelsea, ending a promising career with the Red Devils.

Garnacho failed to kick on and was part of a deeply flawed Chelsea transfer strategy in 2025 that led to two managers being fired during the season.

Moving to Aston Villa gives Garnacho a fresh start with his career – but supporters are reluctant to believe that the winger will see an uptick in fortunes with his latest move.
