Rasmus Hojlund has shared a hilarious message with Manchester United fans after the first-leg Europa League semi-final match against La Liga outfit Athletic Club.
Ruben Amorim’s men travelled to Spain to resume their crucial Europa League campaign and Manchester United made an impact against Athletic Club.
The Red Devils are now in complete control of the Europa League semi-finals after United’s 3-0 win over Athletic Club at the San Mames Stadium on Thursday evening.
Casemiro broke the deadlock for United in the 30th minute before Dani Vivian was shown a red card and Athletic Club were reduced to 10 men five minutes later.
Bruno Fernandes then added his name to the scoresheet from the spot-kick before the 30-year-old United midfielder completed his brace ahead of half-time.
United took their 3-0 lead into half-time and 10-man Athletic Club were unable to rally back in the second half of the Europa League semi-final contest on Thursday.
The Red Devils are now within touching distance of the Europa League final on 21st May after their impressive result in Bilbao in their first-leg match.

Manchester United will host Athletic Club for the return leg of the Europa League semi-finals at Old Trafford on 8th May, with kick-off slated for 8pm UK time.
Either the Red Devils or Athletic Club will face the winner of Tottenham or Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League final at the San Mames Stadium in Spain.
Tottenham are in control of their Europa League semi-final encounter with Bodo/Glimt after Spurs beat the Norwegian side 3-1 at home on Thursday.
Rasmus Hojlund led the frontline for United on Thursday evening and the 22-year-old Danish forward saw out the full 90 minutes of the 3-0 win in Bilbao.
The United and Denmark striker took to social media and Hojlund couldn’t resist dropping a playful message for United fans over the result against Athletic Club.
“First time a group of lads from Manchester leave Spain with a clean sheet,” Hojlund wrote to his Instagram followers.

United manager Ruben Amorim insisted that the Red Devils must not be complacent about the scoreline and admitted that Athletic Club could come back strong.
“I think the result is really good, but we have to understand the result also, at the same time,” he said after the match, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“We struggled a lot in the beginning, but the goal from Casemiro and the sending off changed the game.
“But that is a good thing, with a little bit of luck, we managed to stay in the game and anything can change with one situation.
“I think we had opportunities to score one more. This is not done. They can do the same in Old Trafford because they are really strong, they are really intense.
“One sending off can happen in our stadium, so we need to be prepared.”
United will now return to Premier League action at the Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday afternoon and the Red Devils will face Brentford.
