Manchester United reached the Carabao Cup final with a 5-0 aggregate victory over Nottingham Forest.
The Red Devils will face a very tricky Newcastle side, who are also in the top four in the Premier League.
Bruno Fernandes scored in the first leg and played a starring role in the second, providing the cross which led to United’s second goal last night, even though Marcus Rashford ended up with the assist.
United are heading to Wembley later this month, once more Premier League and Europa League games have been played.

Fernandes urged to win the cup
Bruno Fernandes is looking to win his first trophy as a Manchester United player. This will be his second final after the Europa League final in 2021. United are without a trophy since 2017.
Manchester United take on Newcastle at Wembley, and Fernandes has been urged to go on and win it.
Paris Saint-Germain defender Danilo Pereira told him as much, reaching out on Instagram to tell Fernandes he hopes Manchester United are victorious.

Danilo Pereira played previously for Porto, competitors of Fernandes’ Sporting, with the pair previously going up against each other in the Primeira Liga.
The defender signed for PSG in 2021 and has played 16 games for the French champions this season.
Fernandes could captain United at Wembley if Harry Maguire is not selected. He will appreciate Danilo’s comments, and already has plenty of personal motivation to go on and win the trophy.
