Wout Weghorst is set to complete a loan transfer to Manchester United, BBC Sport report, with the striker flying to the club to undergo a medical.
The deal’s completion is merely a matter of time, with United aiming to get a deal done in time to register him to play in Saturday’s derby.
Weghorst will join on loan for the rest of the season, answering United’s need for a striker, with just 27 goals scored in 17 Premier League games.
With United still flying in four competitions this season, the only English team in this situation, it was vital Erik ten Hag signed another striker.
