In a time of uncertainty and doom and gloom, Paul Pogba has shown he is a class act.
Forget his wavering commitment to Manchester United for a moment, his latest fundraiser is a great cause.
On his birthday, Pogba used social media to urge the public to donate £27,000 towards battling coronavirus. In turn, he says he will double the contribution.
While this may seem like small fry in terms of money compared to what he earns, it is commendable that he is doing anything.
The practical aspect of Pogba’s commitment will help thousands around the world. Let’s give credit where it is due.

In this case he is acting like a Manchester United player should, making himself an individual to be proud of, who cares about more than himself.
Pogba takes a lot of flak, but in this moment where we put actual playing football aside temporarily, it is time to come together.
And who knows, by time football resumes, Pogba should be fully fit again.
