Manchester United fans need a bit of good news right now. Paul Pogba’s return could be just the tonic.
While Pogba’s upcoming return to the side is laced with questions over his future and expiring contract, let’s just appreciate it for what it is: a much needed improvement to Manchester United’s midfield options right now.

Pogba has been out since early November with injury and is closing in on a comeback.
He was pictured in training with the rest of the first team before the late January break, and he has been continuing a rigorous fitness regime to get back in the best shape possible.
The Frenchman shared a picture to his 51 million followers on Instagram, showing him working hard on the training pitch.
A big few weeks ahead for Pogba
Pogba’s future is undecided, and this could work out to Manchester United’s advantage.
The midfielder will be determined to play some of the best football of his career over the next few weeks and months, in order to inflate his value.
Pogba needs a strong negotiating position and will be keen to showcase himself. Clubs will be more likely to pay up his wage demands if he excels and creates some hype around himself.
He will also be desperate to stay injury free, as this has been the biggest knock against him. This will be the fifth time in six seasons he has failed to play 30 Premier League games for Manchester United.
Right now, Pogba’s return will give United a timely boost heading into an important few weeks, with the Champions League tie with Atletico Madrid at the end of February.
It’s possible he could be involved in the FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough next Friday night.
