Manchester United goalkeeper Senne Lammens has made a big impact since he made his debut for the club.
It was clear when Manchester United started the season that while there were two goalkeepers available, neither were satisfactory solutions.
Andre Onana was sent on loan to Trabzonspor after his disaster against Grimsby Town, while Altay Bayindir showed he was clearly not good enough either.

Thankfully, Senne Lammens has been a breath of fresh air for Manchester United with his performances from the moment he made his debut.
United fans chanted Peter Schmeichel’s name in appreciation of Lammens’ performance, illustrating how happy they were.

Paul Parker on Senne Lammens
Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker is thrilled by what he has seen from Senne Lammens, echoing the excitement of supporters.
The 1993/94 Double Winner says that he is so impressed by Lammens, that he believes he has made an even bigger difference than any of the outfield signings, including top scorer Bryan Mbeumo.
Parker told Webby and O’Neill: “He’s made a massive difference. That’s been big, you know, the signings of the attacking players made a difference.
“A goalkeeper has maybe made a bigger one, in that sense you can just see when balls are coming in the box, you’re seeing someone commanding.”
The way Lammens has commanded his penalty area has been assuring for the Manchester United defence, exuding both confidence and competence.
After two years of Andre Onana, Lammens is a breath of fresh air, and is unbeaten in his five appearances for the club.
Paul Parker says Senne Lammens growth is key factor
Edwin van der Sar was in his mid-30s when he signed for Manchester United, and had already enjoyed a very successful career.
Senne Lammens is only just getting started, and Parker advises that even with the impressive signs he has seen from the goalkeeper so far, fans should be patient and accept the odd error.
Parker added: “Look, at the end of the day, he’s 22 years of age. He’s going to make mistakes at 22 years old.
“But we do know that goalkeepers mature as they move on.”
Former player Paul Scholes was not so optimistic about Lammens when United first signed him, but Parker’s comments reflect the major excitement from fans after actually getting to see the former Royal Antwerp signing in action.
