Manchester United’s win over Tottenham was a complete performance where every single player stood tall.
Bruno Fernandes was awarded the official man of the match award by broadcasters Amazon Prime – but pundit Patrice Evra felt differently.
Speaking after full-time, Evra picked out another defender for his choice of best player.
He said: “My man of the match was Dalot even if they give it to Bruno.”

Dalot outstanding against Tottenham
Diogo Dalot would have been a worthy selection as man of the match, and so would Luke Shaw at the other full-back position.
The right-back completed 51 of 57 passes, creating two goalscoring chances and attempting four shots.
Dalot had 78 touches in total, making eight ball recoveries and one interception, with United outclassing Tottenham in all areas.
He also won both of his aerial duels, and completed both of his cross attempts.
Dalot has made a major improvement this season and appears to be by far the club’s most improved player.
Erik ten Hag deserves credit for this too, and Dalot’s consistency is very noteworthy too.
United are playing without a back-up right-back in the squad due to Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s injury problems.
Ten Hag said earlier this week that Wan-Bissaka is set tor return to training, and this might allow Dalot to get a crucial rest at some stage. But as long as he is asked to keep going, Dalot will keep stepping up.
