Manchester United faced Newport County in the most recent FA Cup outing and now one of the opposition players has had his say.
At the end of January, Manchester United progressed in the FA Cup by defeating League Two side Newport County.
In a blockbuster 4-2 win, United progressed thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo, Antony and Rasmus Hojlund.
But despite United winning and progressing to the next round, Newport were still impressive.
Now one of their goalscorer has shared his views on the game and particularly on the ever impressive Diogo Dalot.

Will Evans praises Diogo Dalot
Speaking on the Goalposts for Jumpers podcast, Newport striker Will Evans admitted that Dalot was the player who left him in awe during the game last month.
When asked who surprised him the most in terms of quality in the United team, Evans declared emphatically: “Dalot.”
“There was a ball that came over my head, it was probably like chest height and I’ve watched it the whole way and I’ve seen him in front of me and he just, in the air back-heeled it, back to the keeper and I just thought what… what chance have I got.
“And he’s rapid, like he is lightning quick, like I was not surprised, cause you’re not surprised by it but he was crazy to me.”
Diogo Dalot is becoming one of Manchester United’s main men
Dalot has long been a figure which divided opinion within the United fanbase, as half favoured Aaron Wan-Bissaka instead.
But that surely has changed after the campaign Dalot has been having, with his name almost certainly in the club’s Player of the Year running.
He’s proving Jose Mourinho correct for his comments of praise upon Dalot’s arrival six years ago.
A real star within Erik ten Hag‘s team and now he’s proving it on a regular basis and is becoming a leader within the side, still just 24, he’s a very bright future at this club .
