Manchester United bounced back from conceding two first half goals to beat Atalanta 3-2.
United’s comeback was capped off by a Cristiano Ronaldo header with eight minutes to go.
Speaking after the game to BT Sport, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer explained what he said to the players at half-time.
Solskjaer said: “Make sure we get the next goal because we will win the game.”
He added: “So long as we didn’t concede I was sure we would win.”

Solskjaer was referring to the way United were still creating chances in the first half.
Fred and Marcus Rashford both could have had a couple of first half goals, with the latter hitting the bar.
While Solskjaer was right that United were creating chances, what was less likely was a resilient second half performance defensively.
Atalanta seemed to score with ease in the first half and it was hard to see United going through the second 45 while keeping a clean sheet.
Somehow United managed it. The team attacked without giving away extra space at the back, and got the three goals which were needed.
United got away with this one. But amid the frustration and anger which was felt at half-time, it’s fair to credit Solskjaer and the players with this result. They earned it, just.
