Noussair Mazraoui’s injury for Morocco
Mazraoui was named in Morocco’s starting line-up at left-back for their friendly against Norway on Sunday evening.
Up against an attack that includes Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, Mazraoui had his work cut out.
But just 29 minutes into the match, Mazraoui was forced off with an injury after a clash with Alexander Sorloth.
As posted by NextGen Morocco on X, Mazraoui felt physical discomfort and was taken off, replaced by Youssef Belammari in defence.

Extent of Noussair Mazraoui’s injury is unknown
It is not yet clear how severe Mazraoui’s injury is, or whether or not he can compete in the World Cup this summer.
Morocco are in a group with Brazil, Scotland and Haiti, so Mazraoui is set to come up against United teammates Matheus Cunha, Casemiro and new signing Ederson, as well as Scott McTominay’s Scotland.
