Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane has now told Jamie Carragher where he stands on Manchester United’s summer signings of Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
Ruben Amorim added much-needed firepower to his Manchester United first-team squad with the high-profile arrival of the aforementioned trio of summer signings.
Matheus Cunha was the first to arrive through the doors at Old Trafford after United triggered his £62.5m release clause at Premier League side Wolves in early June.
Following the signing of former Wolves ace Cunha, United’s long-drawn-out summer saga over Bryan Mbeumo finally came to an end after their third bid was accepted.
United completed the signing of Mbeumo in July and the Red Devils paid an initial fee of £65m for the former Brentford star, including a further £6m in add-ons.
Joining both Cunha and Mbeumo at Old Trafford as another major big-money signing was striker Benjamin Sesko, who was acquired for an initial fee of £66.3m.

Man Utd legend Roy Keane reveals his transfer rating for former Wolves star Matheus Cunha and ex-Brentford ace Bryan Mbeumo
Roy Keane sat down with Jamie Carragher for Sky Sports and the Manchester United legend and the Liverpool hero were asked to rate the ‘biggest transfers’ so far.
Matheus Cunha was the first name that popped up for United and Keane didn’t think twice about suggesting that the 26-year-old Brazilian forward would be a top signing.
Keane waxed lyrical about the early showings of the Brazil international and the ex-Red Devils skipper went as far as to call Cunha a proper “United player” in his eyes.
“Yeah, I think he’ll [Cunha] be a hit,” he told Carragher.
“He got injured on the weekend. Hopefully, it’s not too serious. No, he’s got a nice presence about him.
“Looks like a Man United player. Can beat people. No, I think he’ll be a hit.
“Yeah, he’s embracing the pressure. He doesn’t look like he’s struggling. No, I think he’ll be a hit.”
Following on from Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo popped up on the screen and Keane didn’t mince his words – or feelings – about the French-born attacker’s arrival at United.
“I think he’ll be a hit. I like him, yeah,” he said.
Roy Keane tells Jamie Carragher where he stands on Benjamin Sesko after the Man Utd striker’s late summer arrival at Old Trafford
Benjamin Sesko has not started a Premier League match this season for United and all three of the striker’s league appearances have come from the bench so far.
The 22-year-old Slovenian forward did make his first start in any competition for the Red Devils last week in United’s Carabao Cup loss to Grimsby Town at Blundell Park.
Keane has insisted that his rating for United’s Sesko transfer is “too early to tell” and the United legend even added that the Slovenian international deserves a “chance.”
Speaking to Carragher on Sky Sports, he said: “Too early to tell [on Sesko].
“Yeah, I think when there’s a lot of speculation sometimes, you know how much some [sic] a lot of lads miss training over pre-season and maybe just looks like he’s not up to speed yet, but yeah, undecided yet. Give the kid a chance.”
United hijacked Newcastle’s pursuit of former Arsenal target Sesko in early August and the Red Devils signed the Slovenian from RB Leipzig in a deal worth £73.7m.
