Manchester United’s start to the season has been a mixed bag but there has been a positive impact from the club’s new summer signings.
The Red Devils have made four new additions to Erik ten Hag’s squad – set to become five when Manuel Ugarte completes his £42m move.
Leny Yoro is not expected to feature until October after suffereing a fractured metatarsal against Arsenal in pre-season.
But Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui and Joshua Zirkzee have all featured at the start of the season and made a bright start to life at Old Trafford.
Zirkzee scored on his debut against Fulham to kick-start the Premier League campaign with an important three points.
Mazraoui has started both games at right-back and has been mightily impressive, while De Ligt has started on the bench before replacing Harry Maguire in the two league matches.

Man United Player of the Month vote
As we approach the end of August, fans are able to vote and crown a Player of the Month.
United announced the three nominees on Thursday morning which included new signing Mazraoui.
Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho are also up for the vote after their impressive performances from out wide in the league and Community Shield.
The winner of the award is set to be announced on Saturday ahead of a blockbuster visit from Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
Noussair Mazraoui proving to be a bargain
United took a risk replacing Aaron Wan-Bissaka with Mazraoui, but if his first two performances are anything to go by then the club have their hands on a fantastic talent.

Mazraoui impressed in the defeat to Brighton, where he managed to keep Kaoru Mitoma quiet down Brighton’s left.
He also looks sharp going forward and he has already registered his first assist of the season by setting up Amad for his goal against the Seagulls in the second half.
