Antony had a bright start to his Manchester United career and has scored five goals for the club to date.
However, there is still a sense among supporters and observers that the winger is still developing as a player.
The big fee paid for him has distracted from the fact the Brazilian is only 22-years-old, and adjusting to the frenetic pace of the Premier League.
Former United star Gary Neville has recommended Antony look at a Manchester City player, who he can look at as a pointer.

Neville compares Antony to Riyad Mahrez
Gary Neville told Sky Sports after Manchester United’s defeat to Arsenal that Antony should model his game on Riyad Mahrez.
He also added that he doesn’t expect the winger to transform overnight, but does expect him to improve over time.
Neville said: “I thought Rashford looked dangerous but Antony, we need more from him.
“He needs to look at Mahrez and see how he can turn into that sort of player in the next 18 months.”
City paid £60 million to sign Mahrez in 2018, two years after he had won the title with Leicester City.
He has become a key part of City’s success, and has scored 10 goals in all competition this season, double the five netted by Antony so far.
Mahrez has also provided four assists, while Antony has no assists so far this season for United.
Parts of Antony’s game are excellent, and he provides a useful outlet in attack, giving shape and structure to Erik ten Hag’s tactical set up.
But so often, his final ball is lacking, leading to United’s attacks breaking down. Looking at Mahrez’s game for clues on how to improve, might be a smart piece of advice.
