Michael Carrick has done a superb job at Manchester United yet he continues to be disrespected in the Premier League.
After leading Manchester United to a third-place finish in the Premier League this season, Ineos made the decision to appoint Michael Carrick permanently as head coach.
Carrick was given a two-year contract as a reward for his brilliant interim spell, meaning he will be responsible to complete ‘Project 150’ and lead United on a title charge.
But Ineos were urged not to hire Carrick by several pundits and ex-players and instead opt for a ‘world-class’ head coach. Frankly, the disrespect aimed towards the 44-year-old has already started to ramp up.
