Carrick on Sesko
After the game Michael Carrick confirmed that Sesko had an injury prior to the game and the incident aggravated it.
Carrick said: “He’s been carrying a shin problem for some time, he got pushed and caught the bit that’s been causing him some problems.”
Sesko had scored Manchester United’s second goal, following an opener from Matheus Cunha.
It was his 12th goal of the season. He is Manchester United’s current top scorer, with 11 of those goals coming in the Premier League, the other in the FA Cup.
There is no indication over Sesko’s status for Manchester United’s next fixture, against Sunderland next Saturday.
