Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has a few issues to deal with following Manchester United’s defeat to Tottenham.
Bruno Fernandes will have to serve a three-game suspension after his red card in the 3-0 defeat to Tottenham.
Fernandes was sent off in the dismal loss at Old Trafford, and shortly afterwards Kobbie Mainoo came off with an injury.
After a conversation near the dugout, Mainoo went straight down the tunnel to be assessed, eventually replaced by Mason Mount.
Mason Mount did not complete the game either after receiving a blow to the back of the head after a challenge with Radu Dragusin, with blood evident after a cut was opened up.

What Ten Hag said about Mount and Mainoo
Speaking after the game, manager Erik ten Hag was quizzed about Mason Mount and Kobbie Mainoo.
The United boss told MUTV he could not really provide any update of value at all – but he did admit it was a particular worry with regard to Mainoo.
He said: “I can’t say in this moment I have to find out but, of course, when a player is coming off before half-time already, then there are some concerns.”
With regard to Mount, the manager added: “He was bleeding so it’s clear there are some problems there and we have to see how they recover in the coming days.”
Mason Mount gives update
Mason Mount posted on Instagram following the defeat, and tried to alleviate concern about his problem.
He posted a photo where he was getting stitches, along with a comment: “I’m all good, just a scratch. Thanks for all the messages.”

Mount’s wound may be patched up – but it will hurt, and being a head injury he will have to be examined closely.
United have two matches upcoming against Porto and then Aston Villa, before the subsequent international break.
With Fernandes suspended for league games, the club captain will almost certainly feature away at Porto, alleviating any urgency for United to rush Mount back if he is not 100 per cent.
