Marcus Rashford’s Manchester United teammate has revealed that the England star “looks” at him and sends him a clear-cut message after his side score.
The 26-year-old Manchester United star has shown shades of getting back to his best form in the current campaign under Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag.
Marcus Rashford has scored four times and registered three assists in 12 appearances across all competitions in the 2024-25 season.
The England international was met with heavy criticism last season after his form fell off a cliff, with Rashford only scoring eight times across all competitions.
Rashford, who made 43 appearances for the Red Devils last season, missed out on a place in England’s Euro 2024 squad in the summer due to his poor run of form.
The United forward has also been out of the Three Lions squad for the September and October international breaks under interim England manager Lee Carsley.

Rashford’s message to Man Utd star
Manchester United returned to winning ways in the Premier League after the October break with a 2-1 comeback win against Brentford at Old Trafford.
United are currently 12th in the Premier League and have won only three matches in eight under Erik ten Hag, who has faced criticism over United’s run of form.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Andre Onana insisted that Red Devils players are from happy with the league performances and they talk about “everything” going on.
The 28-year-old United No 1 revealed that Marcus Rashford will look at him and tell him the importance of not conceding if the Red Devils find the back of the net.
“We speak about everything,” Andre Onana said.
“We speak about goals, we speak about mistakes, we speak about free-kicks. We speak about corners, how to defend and how to attack them.
“At the end of the day, when we step on the pitch, it’s to win.
“Clean sheets for defenders and as a goalkeeper is the first thing we have in mind. If we keep the zero, our front players, they will score.
“And [Marcus] Rashford sometimes when we score, he looks at me like, ‘Andre, now it’s your turn’ and he’s told me, too – but in a nice way, because we are in this together.
“Now if Rashford is one against one with the defender, for us, it’s helpful with his speed, he can make the difference.
“So, we try always to speak about everything and look at what is best for the team.”
Onana on playing for Man Utd
Andre Onana has impressed with his run of form at Old Trafford and has been consistent for the United star this season after an up-and-down campaign.
The former Ajax and Inter Milan star is currently leading the race for the Premier League Golden Glove with four clean sheets from eight league matches so far.
Onana insisted that he is not fazed by the stature of playing for a big club like United and the Cameroonian shot-stopper says the players “focus” on what they must do.
“You always hear about Manchester United, about Real Madrid, about Barcelona… fingers pointed everywhere,” he said.
“But us as players, we just focus on our things, because there are things in life we cannot control.
“And what people think and what people say, that is not what I can control. So we are just focused on our training, our games, our game plan and to win games because that is our main priority.
“What others think, we can’t control that – I wish we could control everything, but that is not for us.
“So, we just let them speak and we are still in democracy so everyone is allowed to say whatever you want. We always try to take the positive side because it’s what is important for us.”
