Manchester United have dealt with the Marcus Rashford situation and are looking to move forward.
England international Marcus Rashford has seen his actions splashed on the front pages of newspapers this week for all the wrong reasons.
The forward missed the game against Newport after failing to attend training on Friday, following two consecutive nights out in Belfast prior.
Manager Erik ten Hag said the issue was an ‘internal matter’, with Manchester United issuing a club statement saying Rashford had expressed regret and he will now re-join the first team.

Marcus Rashford made late plea to Ten Hag
After reporting ill on Friday and missing training, Marcus Rashford was not considered for selection for Manchester United’s FA Cup fourth round clash.
Yet, according to The Times, this was not the end of the matter over the weekend, with Rashford desperate to make amends.
It is claimed Rashford made a last-ditch plea on Sunday morning to his manager, declaring himself available for selection against Newport.
By this time Manchester United’s squad had already travelled to Wales the previous day.
Rashford was offering to travel down on the Sunday and join up with the squad, before Erik ten Hag told him he should stay put and report to Carrington to train instead.
Ten Hag made the right call
Erik ten Hag made the right decision rejecting Marcus Rashford’s late plea. By this time the damage was already done.
If Ten Hag had permitted him to join up with the squad so quickly, he could have lost some respect from other players, in his attempt to enforce a hard-line disciplinary stance.
Manchester United did not need Rashford either, winning 4-2 against Newport to earn a place in the FA Cup fifth round.
