Marcus Rashford looks in great shape as he steps up recovery at Carrington

Marcus Rashford has been pictured for the first time since Cristiano Ronaldo rejoined Manchester United.

Previous photos of Rashford in light training were released back on August 25. Ronaldo sealed his return on deadline day.

Now Rashford and United have shared pictures of him continuing to train to get fit after his shoulder operation.

On schedule

Rashford is not yet in full training with the rest of United’s squad, instead he is still doing light work.

He is projected to return in late September or early October, following his shoulder injury.

Rashford has also been able to simultaneously rest an ongoing foot injury.

It felt like Rashford was missed in midweek against Young Boys.

He would have been the ideal player to bridge the gap between midfield and attack and help Ronaldo out.

It is great to see Rashford looking healthy and also good that United are not rushing him.

United confirmed Alex Telles and Scott McTominay have rejoined the main training group today after their injuries, but made no reference of Rashford, aside from ruling him out of this weekend’s match.

Rashford was seen running with teammates Paul Pogba and Victor Lindelof, although he is not taking part in full on sessions.
