Marco Asensio is definitely not a fan of one player at Manchester United, as a TikTok confirms.
Paris Saint Germain’s winger Marco Asensio was previously linked to Manchester United before his move to Ligue 1 in 2022.
Erik ten Hag was given the chance to sign Real Madrid’s Spaniard for just £25.3 million – but as we know today, he never pulled the trigger.
One Manchester United player will be happy they didn’t.
Marco Asensio really not a fan of Aaron Wan-Bissaka
In a TikTok video filmed with Pitch Addict, Asensio was tasked to rank players as they popped up on the screen from 1-10.
The first player that popped up was Manchester United first-team-squad member Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Asensio put him in 10th. Then proceeded to laugh at the choice as if it was obvious.
Of course, part of the game is trying to guess who could fit in the other slots, but Asensio made some seriously questionable choices, including having former teammate Dani Carvajal at fourth – one spot ahead of Chelsea and England legend Frank Lampard.
Not the first to laugh at Aaron Wan-Bissaka…
Unfortunately for Wan-Bissaka, Asensio isn’t the only footballer who doesn’t rate him. Hull City stars were also captured recording a similar video in February 2024, ranking Wan-Bissaka dead last and then laughing in unison.
Bold coming from some Championship players. The only opinion that matters about the English full-back is Ten Hag’s. Although at the moment… does anyone really know where Wan-Bissaka is?
He hasn’t played since January 14th against Tottenham, he was expected back against Aston Villa, but then supposedly picked up an injury in training. Let’s hope he returns soon to prove his doubters wrong.
