Manchester United have announced that 15 young players have signed their first-year scholarship contracts.
Ahead of the 2026/27 season, Manchester United have published a list of academy talents who have signed on scholarship terms.
As per the Premier League regulations, a scholarship agreement is described as a “significant milestone” for academy players beyond their Under-16s season.
At the start of June, United announced their retained list which confirmed several academy exits. Now, a month later, it is clear which academy players have taken the next step towards a first-team breakthrough.

Manchester United announced their new academy intake via the club website on Tuesday, just hours after a ceremony was held at Old Trafford’s Manchester suite.
Here are the 15 young players who have signed scholarship agreements:
- Jaume Camacho Sidos (Midfielder)
- Jayce Carrick (Midfielder)
- Edson Dejonge-Seiros (Forward)
- Harley Emsden-James (Defender)
- Idris Fabiyi (Defender)
- Jake Ford (Goalkeeper)
- Gazimagamed Ibragimov (Defender)
- Connor Laurie (Defender)
- Harlem McLaughlin (Midfielder)
- Camron Mpofu (Forward)
- Jodie Nganga (Midfielder)
- Samuel O’Brien (Defender)
- Kai Rooney (Forward)
- Pharell Silvester (Midfielder)
- Emmanuel Ziro (Midfielder)
United’s Academy director Stephen Torpey addressed the audience at the event, saying: “I feel privileged to carry the baton forward as the next custodian of this football club’s great Academy.”
