Manchester United have submitted their retained list to the Premier League ahead of contracts officially expiring at the end of the month.
The curtain has been drawn on the 2025/26 season and Manchester United will now wave goodbye to several players over the summer.
Old Trafford bid farewell to Casemiro at the end of the season. The Brazilian announced he was leaving back in January, and he left United on a high.
Michael Carrick showed his class with a goodbye message for Tyrell Malacia in his end-of-season speech. The Dutch defender’s exit was also expected.

Man United name six players leaving as free agents
The contract expiration dates for all United players is fairly well documented, and deals are officially set to run out on June 30.
Ahead of that date, United have submitted their retained list to the Premier League, and the club has confirmed that a total of six players are leaving.
Casemiro, Malacia and Jadon Sancho are confirmed to be leaving as their contracts expire. Sancho was on loan at Aston Villa for the final year of his deal. He will not return to Carrington.
United also confirmed that the academy trio of Sonny Aljofree, James Bailey and Malachi Sharpe are set to leave at the end of the month.
Goalkeeper Dermot Mee has been offered a new contract, while Albert Mills and Dante Plunkett are expected to sign their first professional terms and stay in the academy setup.

Ineos are busy working on new transfers to arrive at Old Trafford, and new players can be registered over the summer.
But United have now confirmed their retained list for the upcoming 2026/27 season, and it is broken up into three sections: Players under the age of 24, over the age of 24, and scholars yet to sign professional terms.
SECTION A (PLAYERS UNDER 24 AS OF 30 JUNE)
