Manchester United are open to loan offers for Charlie McNeill this month, report The MEN.
McNeill has a prolific record at youth level for United, having rejoined the club in 2020 from Manchester City.
The young striker made his first team debut for the Red Devils against Real Sociedad under Erik ten Hag back in September.
However, he has not featured since, even amid United’s lack of striker options, he has not even recently made the bench.

United open to McNeill loan
McNeill did feature on the recent winter tour of Spain, but did not make an impact in the friendlies, and the logical conclusion from Erik ten Hag’s subsequent actions is that he does not believe the youngster is quite ready yet.
An ideal way for McNeill to get himself noticed is to head out on loan, and United are said to be open to offers.
There will likely be plenty of interest in McNeill lower down the Football League, and this is a departure which feels likely.
The one condition will be that Manchester United manage to sign a striker, amid reports linking Wout Weghorst with a switch.
Footmercato first reported United’s interest in Weghorst, who is currently on loan at Besiktas from Burnley.
McNeill has scored four goals for United’s under-21 side this season, and has netted 46 for the academy since joining the club.
Five of these came as United won the FA Youth Cup last season, a tally only bettered by Alejandro Garnacho.
A loan deal could be exactly what he needs to propel his United career forward, and both he and United will want to choose wisely.
