Manchester United have begun preparations for Sunday’s Manchester derby and there is mixed news.
The club released a training gallery with 20 images – and there was no sign of forwards Anthony Martial or Marcus Rashford.
The pictures feature international stars Raphael Varane and Tyrell Malacia, who have already completed their international breaks.
Scott McTominay is also present, having ended his international break early after picking up a suspension for Scotland.

Rashford not back in training
ESPN reported last week that United were ‘hopeful’ Marcus Rashford would be available to feature against Manchester City, if he made his training return early this week.
While still possible he is being held back and could feature on Wednesday, the fact he did not feature today (Tuesday) is not a promising sign.
Rashford picked up an injury against Arsenal which kept him out of the England squad. With the Three Lions’ fixtures now complete, Luke Shaw could return to training tomorrow.
Harry Maguire will have to be assessed after appearing to pick up an injury against Germany.
Anthony Martial was always more of a long shot to return this week. He was not pictured either.
Jadon Sancho and David de Gea were among the first team stars present at Carrington, with several youngsters involved.
These included FA Youth Cup winning left-back Sam Murray, striker Charlie McNeill and under-21s defender Bjorn Hardley.
Shola Shoretire, Toby Collyer, Zidane Iqbal, Marc Jurado, Rhys Bennett and Alejandro Garnacho also featured.
