Manchester United are looking to continue dominance over Leeds as the two teams clash at Old Trafford tonight.

The Red Devils are heavy favourites with 13 home victories in a row, and the last two seasons have beaten Leeds 6-2 and 5-1 at Old Trafford.

Leeds enter this game without a manager, after sacking Jesse Marsch, and former Manchester United assistant Chris Armas is among their caretaker staff.

Manchester United have some issues to take care of, with injuries and suspensions building up and testing the United squad in midfield in particular.

Predicted Manchester United line-up

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag would prefer not to make changes to a winning team, but he has to for this game, which comes amid a packed fixture schedule.

One certain starter is David de Gea in goal. At left-back we expect to see Luke Shaw retain his place, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if Tyrell Malacia came into the side for this game.

At centre-back we expect Lisandro Martinez to start, then it is a question over who partners him. United may save Raphael Varane for the weekend and pick Victor Lindelof alongside Martinez.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka could continue at right-back, however, Diogo Dalot is fit again, making the bench against Palace. It’s possible he could return to the starting line-up.

Yet with changes required in midfield and attack, Ten Hag may stick with Wan-Bissaka to avoid making too many other changes.

Marcel Sabitzer is expected to come in and make his first start for the Red Devils, due to Casemiro’s suspension.

He will feature alongside Fred, who has scored in two of his last three games, and netted home and away against Leeds last season.

Then the big question marks come in, with Antony ruled out of this game with injury.

We expect to see Jadon Sancho return to the Manchester United starting line-up, playing in the number 10 role he featured in against Forest last week, with Bruno Fernandes shifting over to the right wing.

Sancho and Fernandes could likely interchange and swap roles during the match; what is important is that United get both players onto the pitch into the line-up.

Wout Weghorst will continue to lead the attack with Anthony Martial out injured, with Marcus Rashford on the left wing.
