  • Manchester United v Liverpool: July 12, 2pm UK time, venue: Thailand.
  • Manchester United v Melbourne Victory: July 15, 11.05am UK time, venue: Australia.
  • Manchester United v Crystal Palace: July 19, 11.10am UK time, venue: Australia.

  • Manchester United v Atletico Madrid, July 30: 1pm, venue: Norway
  • Manchester United v Rayo Vallecano, July 31: 4pm, venue: Old Trafford

All matches will be available live via MUTV.

The Premier League season kicks off as early as August 7, amid a condensed season due to the World Cup.

The interesting set of fixtures will see Erik ten Hag go up against Jurgen Klopp, Patrick Vieira, Steven Gerrard and Diego Simeone in the dugout.

Six games permits a good amount of experimentation for United, with young players Alejandro Garnacho, Hannibal, and Alvaro Fernandez among those hoping to mix in and show their quality.

Having two games in Europe is important as it may afford a second chance for players not included in the travelling squad to the Southern Hemisphere.

With two games on July 30 and 31, United will likely play entirely different squads in both games, giving plenty of players the opportunity to stake a claim before the season kicks off a week later.
