Manchester United have named the 21-man travelling squad for this week’s Europa League first leg with Barcelona.
After training at Carrington this morning, United have now set off to fly to Spain in advance of Thursday’s tie.
Manager Erik ten Hag will hold a press conference this evening, where he may elaborate on some of the fitness issues and players left behind.
United are already without Lisandro Martinez and Marcel Sabitzer due to them both serving one-game suspensions.

Confirmed squad for Barcelona
- David De Gea, Tom Heaton, Jack Butland.
- Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Tyrell Malacia, Raphael Varane, Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
- Bruno Fernandes, Fred, Casemiro, Facundo Pellistri, Zidane Iqbal, Kobbie Mainoo.
- Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Wout Weghorst, Anthony Elanga, Alejandro Garnacho.
In addition to the injured duo, Manchester United are without a number of injured players for the fixture at the Nou Camp.
Antony, Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial all miss out, along with longer term absentees Donny van de Beek and Christian Eriksen.
Add in Sabitzer and Martinez, and that is seven first team players Erik ten Hag must do without.
United have never won away at Barcelona, losing the last meeting 3-0. There are two players in the squad who have scored at the Nou Camp before, Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho, while Casemiro has also scored against Barcelona.
It is notable to see 17-year-old Kobbie Mainoo named in the squad, along with fellow youngsters Alejandro Garnacho and Zidane Iqbal.
