Manchester United youngster Facundo Pellistri made a major impact for loan side Granada on just his second start.
A week ago Manchester United loanee Facundo Pellistri made his debut for Granada, helping his side earn a point against Las Palmas after being reduced to 10 men.
It was a difficult match, and his manager warned afterwards there was no time for adjustment for the Uruguayan, with Granada battling relegation, with only two wins all season in La Liga.
It didn’t get easier for Pellistri and Granada, who went away to Barcelona on Sunday night – but he stepped up impressively.

Facundo Pellistri helped Granada earn a surprise point in the Nou Camp, contributing massively to a 3-3 draw.
Granada even led 3-2, before Lamine Yamal scored a 80th minute equaliser, but Barcelona could not go on and score the winner.
Pellistri provided an assist for Ricard Sanchez to score Granada’s first goal, with an excellent cross just before half-time to make the score 1-1.
Then in the second half Pellistri got on the end of a cross from Myrto Uzuni, to score a first time shot to put Granada 2-1 up.
It was an effective performance from the Uruguay international, with this his first ever La Liga goal, as he did not manage to find the scoresheet during his two spells for Alaves.
Pellistri performance notable
Facundo Pellistri’s performance was a notable one, with the 22-year-old doing what very few young players have managed against Barcelona.
Per Opta, Pellistri is the youngest player since Samuel Eto’o in the year 2000 to score and assist in the same match away at Barcelona.
Pellistri needed a chance to go and play, after struggling for minutes at Manchester United under Erik ten Hag, despite playing more this season than in any other, it just wasn’t enough.
He has become used to trying to maximise every moment he gets on the pitch, and even with very limited possession against Barcelona, he had just 32 touches, he found a way to make a big impact.
