Manchester United have received 10 loan offers for Anthony Elanga, claims Fabrizio Romano.

The club are as yet undecided over the forward’s future, with Erik ten Hag set to make the decision.

Romano wrote on Twitter: “Manchester United have received 10 (!) proposals to sign Anthony Elanga on loan — PSV Eindhoven are pushing after Borussia Dortmund request.

“No green light from Manchester Utd as of now, decision to be made in final 24/48h.”

10 loan offers for Elanga

Erik ten Hag has to make a decision over what is best for Anthony Elanga’s development versus what is in the best interests for Manchester United.

Elanga has started only one game since the World Cup and is merely a back-up choice in attack.

With Facundo Pellistri breaking through and Jadon Sancho set to return soon, Elanga’s options are expected to become even more limited.

Meanwhile the youngster has lost the spark he had when he broke into the first team as a regular under Ralf Rangnick a year ago.

Elanga has not scored for United since last February, not even in pre-season or winter friendly matches.

Going out on loan would be good for his development. The forward is only 21-years-old and is a full Sweden international, who did net for his country last June.

Ten Hag meanwhile may elect to be a little selfish and keep Elanga around for depth. United are competing in four different competitions, and the youngster did feature as a substitute in two matches this past week, providing an assist for Bruno Fernandes’ third goal against Nottingham Forest.

If he does stay before the transfer deadline, then Elanga could get minutes in the second leg against Forest this week.

PSV and Dortmund are both very interesting clubs for Elanga to sign with, and a move to either could be very beneficial for him if he does leave and gets to play regularly.
