Manchester United fans give instant verdict on Ederson deal

Manchester United’s deal for Ederson has approval from fans. There is already discussion over who is next.

Ederson will be Manchester United’s first signing of the summer 2026 transfer window, and expect it to be the first of many.

United reached an agreement with Atalanta to sign Ederson for £35 million. The early summer deal will see Ederson arrive at the club ahead of pre-season at the start of next month.

Good signing at a good price for a squad player which is a change, now that’s the 1st one done, we need the 2nd one & the Casemiro replacement, which will be tough, but it leaves us with 212m left, if reports are to be believed + any sales money.

You have to give new players the benefit of the doubt and let them adapt to not only United but the premier league and the added pace and stamina needed.

He’s a player who’s stats in Serie A are impressive. He’s a box-to-box player, who will develop perceived weaknesses in his armour like passing range, confidence on the ball, etc. I’m confident he will silence all the doubters as he has enough positives going for him.
