Fans are all saying the same thing as a familiar face is spotted at Manchester United versus Bayern Munich’s under-19s game.
The game is essentially the ‘Champions League‘ for the academy sides and is played in conjunction with the home and away fixtures competed by the first-team squad, obviously as United play tonight in Munich.
The fixture finished, unfortunately, 2-0 to Bayern. Let’s hope that’s not a sign of things to come.
But that wasn’t the big talking point amongst United fans, as a familiar face was spotted in the crowd, which has got United fans talking about something once again.

Ralf Rangnick spotted watching United’s academy side
There was one onlooker that caught the attention of United fans. That was former manager Ralf Rangnick.
Laurie Whitwell of the Manchester Evening News took to socials to state Rangnick was in attendance, whilst Simon Peach of PA Media managed to snap a photo of him outside the facility in Munich.
Rangnick obviously has a wealth of association to German football, so when he heard United were in town – naturally he was one of the first to make sure he was around and about.

United fans all saying the same thing…
The sight of Rangnick, combined with Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s in-depth interview with The Athletic today has got fans thinking – the German really should’ve been kept on at the club.
“Bring Ralf Back, put him in the role he was initially supposed to play and that is a good start for a rebuild,” one fan replied.
“They need to make amends with Ralph and give him that talent role immediately,” writes another.
“Ralf needs to come back to United ASAP!” a third agrees.
“United would do well to restore Rangnicks Consultancy role,” a final Red Devils supporter added.
Rangnick was once quoted saying that Manchester United need ‘open-heart surgery’ to rebuild their side. This is slowly looking more and more like the case, amid a sea of troubling issues this season.
However, Erik ten Hag has still got the faith of most. He’s doing a great job with what he’s been given. Let’s just hope our luck switches in the coming weeks.
