Team News

UPDATE 20th September 2023:

It’s matchday, and we know a more more about the team news for tonight.

Harry Maguire has not travelled with the squad due to an injury, meaning it is likely Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof will be a joint partnership.

The full travelling squad includes a number of youngsters, thanks to numerous injuries obtained throughout the season already for the Red Devils.

Rasmus Hojlund is also well and truly in the frame now after his start at the weekend. He has a big role to play in Munich if United want to get a result.

There has been some additional bad news, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka ruled out for around two months.

The negative news on the other end is it looks like one of Bayern Munich’s key men Kingsley Coman is back from injury. His pace and trickery will cause issues for the United defence.

Prediction

The first European fixture is going to be a scary one.

The Bundesliga have a squad full of superstars, including now Harry Kane – who is no stranger to a goal against United.

Given the recent form – unfortunately, we can only see this heading one way.
