Hannibal Mejbri started for Manchester United against Burnley and he took his chances he played brilliantly.
The Tunisian 20-year-old played the entire game and was really good in a display which has no doubt cemented his place in the team.
His energy in the midfield was a revelation for Manchester United given we have become accustomed to Christian Eriksen‘s lacklustre performances.
He was hungry for the ball and was everywhere across the pitch as he never stopped running.
After this, he has got Manchester United fans raving about his display.
Hannibal is supremely talented
Hannibal has been a name fans always hoped would make it at United, and now after years of support and belief it looks like he is about to become a regular.
His goal against Brighton last weekend showed he was ready, and his full 90 against Burnley proved he is here to stay.
Hannibal offers ten times what Eriksen offers United in midfield off and even on the ball these days and we think he has earned his place in the team next time out.
Being so impressive against Burnley has only strengthened the calls for him to be a regular as fans took to social media to all say the same thing.
Manchester United fans react to Hannibal performance
Hannibal’s performance has got fans excited as the club once again sees a youth talent break into the first team.
The performance prompted one fan on X to post: “I don’t mean to sound like a broken record but Hannibal Mejbri is a special talent. Put an absolute shift in tonight. Excited to see his development this season.”
